Imagine that we have 2 VS BizTalk Project:

  • Project1
    • Orch1
    • Schema1
  • Project2
    • Orch2

And both are deployed to the same BizTalk Application, and Orch1 from Project1 want to call the Orch2 that exist in Project2. (this is also apply if tis project are deployed to different BizTalk Applications)

How can I do this?

  1. In Project2, Orch2, you have to defined the Orchestration property “Type Modifier” to “Public”;
  2. In Project1, you have to Add the reference of Project2
  3. In Project1, add call Orchestration shape, in property “Called Orchestration”, choose “Select from referenced assembly”,
    1. Choose Project1 reference and Orch2

The key is, in the Orchestration that you want to call from another’s Orchestrations, defined the property “Type Modifier” to “Public”
